Coach Ramiro Lozano is a native Houstonian and has many years of experience in organized baseball. Coach Lozano is a graduate of St. Pius X High School and played baseball under two great high school coaches, including current High School Hall of Fame coach Ken Humphries (currently Spring High School 5A Baseball Coach) and Coach Kyle Van Hook (currently a Baseball Scout for Seattle Mariners). Lozano went on to play baseball as a walk-on for St. Mary’s University and later played Semi-Pro baseball for the Nicaragua Tigres in the Latin American Baseball League. He played in South America for over five seasons and later joined the Houston White Sox, an amateur baseball team for three seasons. Coach Lozano has played alongside many great baseball players such as David Pierce, Head Baseball Coach for Sam Houston State University, Mark Massey, Mike Hollik, both former University Of Houston baseball player standouts and Curtis Dishman, (Blinn Junior College standout and Houston Astros draftee, currently a Professional Baseball Player Agent). Coach Lozano has learned the importance of identifying talent in young baseball players and assisting in their development as future baseball players and young men. Coach Lozano believes playing baseball aids in teaching our sons to become productive and successful men in whatever endeavor they choose after baseball. Coach Lozano holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business. He completed his Health Care Studies at the University of Oklahoma. He is a Licensed Administrator and the President and Owner of Spanish Meadows Ltd. rehabilitation facilities, with locations across Texas.

Coach Steve Winnon is a student of the game of baseball. A player and fan since he was a boy, Coach Winnon is an expert in baseball mechanics, baseball statistics, and player development. He is at home on the baseball field, having coached various levels of baseball for 20 plus years. His enthusiasm, encouragement, and personal attention motivate players to maximize their strengths and to improve their game beyond perceived limitations. Coach Winnon is committed to honoring the game of baseball by providing solid instruction and modeling good sportsmanship. Coach Winnon handles the daily operation and heads up the college recruiting for the Houston Saints. Coach Winnon’s love of baseball and his passion for mentoring youths has been an asset on and off the field. Coach Winnon is currently the public address announcer for the Woodlands Christian Academy’s varsity baseball and softball teams as well as the Woodlands Strykers, the parent company in the Texas Collegiate Baseball League. Coach Winnon is employed as the Technology Services Machine Shop Manager for Hughes Christensen in The Woodlands. As an employee of 31 years with Baker Hughes, Winnon volunteers for the United Way and is on the Advisory Board in the Lone Star College system. Steve is married to Terri Winnon and they have two children Travis and Grace.
Black Team CoachTrevor Peterson returns for his third season coaching for the Houston Saints as he once again coaches the Black team. Trevor had an outstanding high school career garnering 1st team All-state and 1st team all-district in 2005 and 2006 as one of the area’s top offensive catchers. Trevor was also selected to the State All tournament team, All-Montgomery county and received interest from several MLB teams in 2006. Highlighting his high school, Trevor helped lead The Woodlands Christian Academy to a TAPPS 2A state title. Highly recruited, Trevor signed to play catcher at Angelo State University. After college he worked for top pitching coaches Ron Wolforth and Brent Strom. Currently Trevor is Owner/operator of Frontline Fitness where he coaches hitting, catching, and pitching as well as provides personal training for a wide range of athletes.

Red Team CoachTravis Winnon returns to the Houston Saints coaching staff this year after a two summer stint in the Texas Collegiate Baseball League. A three time All State (TAPPS) catcher and two time 2nd team all Montgomery County selection, Travis is a redshirt junior at Tusculum College in Greeneville, Tennessee. Travis is the son of Saints co-owner, Steve Winnon, and also a former Houston Saints player.
